Itinerary
Day 1-2: U.S.A. - BEIJING
| Depart West Coast today aboard a spacious jet for your transpacific journey. |
Day 3: BEIJING
When
arriving in Beijing, you will be greeted by
our professional tour guide at the Beijing
Capital Airport and then transferred to the
hotel. The rest of the day will be free for
your own leisure, and you can choose other
scenic spots to visit at your own expense.

Day 4: BEIJING (B/L/D)
Today,
we shall visit the Palace Museum-the
Forbidden City, the palace for 24 Ming and
Qing Dynasty emperors. Then, proceed to
Tian'An Men Square-the largest city square
in the world. After lunch, we shall visit
and go shopping in the Jingdu Pearl Factory.
Then, visit Summer Palace, the famous resort
of Empress Dowager Ci Xi, and the Temple of
Heaven. Enjoy Peking Duck dinner in the
evening.

Day 5: BEIJING (B/L/D)
The
highlight today is the astonishing Great
Wall of China, the only man-made structure
on the earth that can be observed by the
naked eyes from the moon. After lunch, we
shall visit a Jade factory and Chang
Tombs----the largest one in the 13 Ming
tombs. On the way back to the city proper,
we stop st Tongrentang, a famous Chinese
herbal medicine store.

Day 6: BEIJING - XI'AN (B/L/D)
Fly to
Xian, the ancient capital city for Han, Tang
and 11 other dynasties in the history. Visit
the Bell Tower, located at the very center
of the city. After lunch, visit the Big Wild
Goose Pagoda. Dumplings will be served for
your dinner.

Day 7: XI'AN (B/L/D)
After
breakfast, visit the Museum of the Terra
Cotta Warriors of the first emperor Qing Shi
Huang,who unified China and ordered to build
the Great Wall. After visiting, you can buy
the imitative clay terra-cotta warriors in
the factory for your friends.

Day 8: XI'AN - CHONGQING ( B,L,D )
Today,
we shall visit the Ming-Dynasty Bell Tower
located at the very center of Xi'an city.
Standing On the top of it, the south gate of
ancient city wall of the Ming can be seen in
distance and meanwhile the Busy traffic is
going around you. Then you will be
transferred to the airport for a flight to
Chongqing and spend the night in the cruise
ship.

Day 9: YANGTZE RIVER (B/L/D)
Depart
from Chongqing for an exciting downstream
journey exploring the unique Three Gorges on
the world's third longest river. The rapid
water and great mountains isolated kept a
stunning world from the outside. Staying
with one of the finest cruise ships on the
river, you will appreciate the comfort
ambiance when you come back from shore
excursions to the primitive land. Your first
port of call will be Fengdu, the legendary
"Ghost City" - the Ming Hill, to be
submerged when the Three Gorges dam is
completed, is a land of "hell" - the scaring
statues describing the afterlife sculpted to
terrify the illiterate. But you will have
fun here. A welcome banquet hosted by the
Captain is arranged in the evening.

Day 10: YANGTZE RIVER (B/L/D)
Entering the first gorge, Qutang Gorge this
morning, you will see the high peaks, sheer
cliff, and the narrow "gates" of the
waterway when the great river is still in
the upper reaches. Then we come to Wu Gorge,
the most beautiful parts of the Three
Gorges. Stopping at Badong and transferring
to the local boat at Shennong Stream, you
will explore ancient plank road remaining
along the river, mysterious ancient coffins
hanging high on the cliff, wild monkeys
running under the primitive bushes.

Day 11: YANGTZE RIVER (B/L/D)
While
the last gorge, Xiling Gorge, comes to an
end, you are reaching Yichang, where
Gezhouba Dam and the current construction of
Three Gorge Dam are. Sightseeing begins in
Shashi, the twin city with modern textile
industry and 3000-year history offers a lot
to tourists - ancient city wall with a moat,
museums with "Ten World's Most" exhibits
including a female corpse of two thousand
years. The cruise arrives in Wuhan the next
day.

Day 12: YANGTZE RIVER - WUHAN (B/L/D)
You
will arrive in Wuhan at noon. Wuhan is
described as the "Homeland of White Clouds
and Yellow Crane". You will visit the Yellow
Crane Tower - a famous scenic spot enjoying
a high reputation both domestically and
abroad, It was first built in the 2nd Year
of Huang Wu State during the period of more
than 1700 years ago.Then you will visit Dong
Hu scenic spot and Hu Bei Museum(Excluding
the admission of Bells Exhibition). During
the tour, we shall have a chance to visit
the local product center.

Day 13: WUHAN - SHANGHAI - SUZHOU (B/L/D)
Fly to
Shanghai, one of the largest commercial
cities in China. Spend the day visiting
beautiful traditional garden- Yu Garden. It
is a famous classical garden located in
Anren Jie, Shanghai. The garden was finished
in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming
Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. Then,
proceed to Cheng Huang Temple.
AfterwardsAwe shall take a tour bus to
Suzhou and visit the famous Hanshan Temple,
first built in the Liang Dynasty (502-557)
as Miaoli Tayuan (Garden of Pagodas). During
the Tang Dynasty (618-907), a famous monk
named Hanshan stayed in the temple, which
was later renamed affer him.

Day 14: SUZHOU - SHANGHAI (B/L/D)
| After
breakfast, we shall visit Liu Garden and pay
a visit to the Silk Research Institute
Shopping Center of Jiangsu. In the evening,
you can walk along the BundANanpu Bridge
and go shopping along Nanjing Road. You can
also view the Oriental Pearl TV Tower (No
Ascending).
14-days tour passengers will leave Shanghai for USA today after breakfast.

Day 15: SHANGHAI - GUILIN (B/L/D)
We
shall take a bus to Shanghai and then take a
flight to Guilin, famous for its picturesque
limestone peaks and rivers. Today, you will
spend the day visiting the Reed Flute Cave.
It was formed 600,000 years ago by a cave
river. Its name is explained by the fact
that reeds for making flutes and pipes have
been grown in this region since ancient
times. After lunch, we shall proceed to the
Elephant Trunk Hill. It is located on the
western bank of Li River Scenery. The shape
of the hill is just like a huge elephant
drinking water from the river with its
trunk.

Day 16 :GUILIN (B/L/D)
Today
you will take a relaxing cruise on the Li
River to enjoy the beauty of the peaks along
the riverbanks en route. And then, you can
visit the local products shopping center.
And you can enjoy a Guilin traditional dance
performance.

Day 17 :GUILIN - GUANGZHOU - HONG KONG (B/L)
Fly to
Guangzhou, a civilized ancient city with a
history of more than 2200 years. A city tour
is arranged to visit Memorial Mausoleum to
72 Revolutionary Martyrs at Huanghuagang, it
is located at the Middle Xinalie Road,
Dongshan district. Then, we shall visit
Wuyang park and Dr. Sun Yet-Sen's Memorial
Hall and appreciate Chinese Calligraphy in
Huayixuan Center. Then, fly to Hong Kong.
